- iGO products are warrantied to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of:
- 24 months on the, Motor drive, Controller, Display, Frame (All electronics excluding the battery);
- 18 Months on the battery. - This warranty does not apply to wearable parts such as tires, brakes or normal wear and tear items.
- Misuse or failures due to improper service, accidents, alteration, or abuse are not covered under any warranty.
- First 60 days iGO will provide the part(s), labor, & shipping of the parts needed.
- After 60 days parts are provided but labor & shipping of part(s) is not included.
- If the product was purchased on line, then iGO will arrange the repairs through a local bike shop within 24 kilometers of the customers delivery address, and pay the labor & shipping of parts directly to them.
- If the product was purchased at an authorized dealer, then the customer will have repairs done by the same dealer and warranty will be provided by that dealer as per the warranty conditions.
- It is the obligation of the customer to present the product to the service provider as shipping of the product for warranty purposes is not included.
- A photo of a broken part must be emailed to support@igoelectric.com for authorization.
- All warranties begin from the date of purchase and are not transferable.
- For any warranty request, refer to our general Terms and conditions, point 4 « Warranty ».
- Battery warranty conditions
If there is a problem with the battery, a photo of the serial number must be emailed to support@igoelectric.com. Upon approval of the warranty, a replacement will be provided to the customer at no charge. Shipping of the battery is not included. Replacement batteries will be covered by a warranty period equal to 18 months from the original date of purchase. - Damages in transit
It is up to the customer to report any damages to the box or the iGO product within 24 hours of receipt.
If you have received your bike and the box is damaged, you must write “received damaged “on the shipping company’s waybill as they are responsible for any damages due to improper handling of your iGO product. You must then notify iGO electric in writing at support@igoelectric.com, or by toll free number at 888-996-6686 extension “233” within 24 hours of receipt to report the issues, after which iGO is not responsible for any damages.
If it is necessary to return the bike for repairs or exchange, a return authorization number is needed. - iGO E-bikes are equipped with diagnostic electronics and service tools for an incredible level of built-in serviceability that is unique to iGO electric bikes.
- iGO Connect, Standard on all Aspire, Discovery, & Outland series bikes are equipped with an included diagnostic app for your IOS or Android smart phone. This tool will provide all riding functions of the bike on your smart device including a diagnostic system that will identify an issue should one arise.
- iGO diagnostic display equipped on Elite ll and Extreme 2.0 will provide diagnostic error codes on the display to identify a need for service.
- Discovery, Outland, Elite ll and Extreme 2.0 frames are equipped with iGO’ s new in frame electronics access port which allows anyone to easily access the controller and wiring in seconds.
- Plug in components with twist locking weatherproof connectors makes it incredibly easy for anyone to change any electronic component in minutes.
- iGO road side assistance included on all iGO e-bikes. Just aim your smart devices camera onto the QR code located on all iGO frames to open our service tool. Information on everything from how to change a flat tire, to how to operate the display is a click away.
